Meet the Doctor: Dr. Lisa Carrington

Dr. Lisa Carrington’s favorite aspect of pediatric dentistry is getting to bring joy and fun into the dental environment. Her goal is to provide positive dental experiences early in childhood to keep kids’ dental visits fear-free. She values building relationships with her patients and their families and loves making a positive impact in their dental health.

The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry has certified Dr. Carrington as a specialist in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Carrington completed a 2-year post-doctoral specialty education program in pediatric dentistry at USC and Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles (CHLA). She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from University of the Pacific in San Francisco and her bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors from Loyola Marymount University.

Dr. Carrington is a member of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. Dr. Carrington has participated in many local and international dental outreach trips in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mexico, and the Philippines.

When she isn’t at the office, you can usually find Dr. Lisa cooking or hiking with her Fiancè. She lives locally in San Jose and enjoys exploring all the best food spots around town! Dr. Carrington grew up in the East Bay Area and loves being close to visit family.
